We’re With You Every Step of The Way
The BWCAC is a not for profit community organisation dedicated to serve the Bangladeshi community in Cambridge. Our dedicated team of volunteers are here to assist you and your family.
Pre Planning
Speak to us as soon as possible and we will help to plan the funeral.
Arrangements
We can arrange transportation of the deceased body, arrange Janazah at the masjid and help you book the funeral.
Burial
We can help you book the funeral in the quickest possible time frame, we will communicate with all parties.
Funeral Fund
We have a funeral fund which you can apply for if there is any financial burden. This acts as a loan at the time of need.
Financial Support
There are means tested financial support available from the government to help with funeral costs. We have a dedicated support officer to assist you.

Funeral Expenses Support
You could get a Funeral Expenses Payment (also called a Funeral Payment) if you get certain benefits and need help to pay for a funeral you’re arranging. Click here to learn more.

Funeral Fund (Loan)
Due to the kindness of our community, we have a funeral fund available (subject to application). This is a loan to cover funeral expenses at the time of need. Please speak to Mahfuj or one of our funeral co-ordinators if you need such assistance.
